KUMARUARA AMAZONIAN ART
Mystery, sacred song, and the grace of plumage over water.
The Uirapuru necklace is a ceremonial piece of magnetic elegance and deep poetic dimension. Meticulously handwoven in a mesh of deep cobalt blue and ivory white beads, it features an architecture of concentric triangles and cascading fringes that evoke the beating wings of the Amazon’s mystical bird, whose song brings good fortune, harmony, and the magic of the jungle.
This piece was created by the Kumaruara Tribe of the Muruari village, in the Lower Tapajós, Amazon. Each stroke transforms the material into a canvas of memory, spirituality, and deep connection with the forest.
With a chest structure and a sophisticated silhouette, the Uirapuru was conceived as an amulet of transmutation and wisdom, designed to adorn the body with magnetism, presence, and Amazonian roots.
