KUMARUARA AMAZONIAN ART
Subtle world, sacred medicine, and ancestral fluidity.
The Jiboia das Águas necklace is inspired by the strength of the sacred serpent and its movement through the Amazonian rivers. Over an imposing mantle of deep black glass beads, wavy lines in sky-turquoise blue and white trace the pattern of its skin and the ripples of water at dusk. In the center, a geometric detail in vibrant red emerges like a pulse of life and sacred fire.
This piece was created by the Kumaruara Tribe of the Muruari village, in the Lower Tapajós, Amazon. Each stroke transforms the material into a canvas of memory, spirituality, and deep connection with the forest.
With a chest structure and a sophisticated silhouette, the Jiboia das Águas was conceived as an amulet of transmutation and wisdom, designed to adorn the body with magnetism, presence, and Amazonian roots.
